It initially looks to be a lot of information but its an easy read without being overly technical. I thought I knew enough about fluid & calorie intake but after reading how much a body can effectively absorb I suspect I've been eating & drinking too much before & during hard training rides or race to the point I would sometimes bloat or cramp unusually early. After reading this & trying a "less is more" approach over the first few hours of a hilly 5hr mtb race recently I felt good throughout the ride & had plenty of energy to the finish. All without the stress of forcing myself to drink & eat at every opportunity to replace everything.

This covers all the basis and is an excellent read for triathletes and long distance athletes.
Although it focuses on the Hammer products which I like, you could use the information for many other nutrition or hydration products

The hammer nutrition guide was a great help for me as I have just started increasing my rides to 3hrs + and this guide gave me loads of usefull FREE nutritional education.

The Endurance Athletes GUIDE to SUCCESS by Hammer Nutrition is an interesting read - there is lots of good, helpful information - for athletes at all levels and disciplines.

Very comprehensive book about all parts of nutrition - training and racing. I have used this as a guide no matter what brand I use as the ideas move across
