Indoor Cycling Training like you have never seen it before - the Hana Highway in Hawaii.
If you like to ride on rolling hills, you’ve just found heaven. While there are some longer climbs here, by in large there are plenty of opportunities for recovery and speed.
Because of the variability of rolling terrain, you get multiple approaches in coaching objectives, and each coach has done just that; chosen a different objective. Enjoy one coach’s approach on Monday, and come back Tuesday for a completely different experience on the same roads.

Kissed By Morning Rain
This ride segment could be filed under the “creative risk” section. For kicks and giggles, we showed this section of road to a couple of indoor cycling classes to give them an idea of what it’s like to ride in the warm morning rain in Hawaii. Much to our surprise, they loved it in all its “unperfected” glory. So, grab your light weight rain jacket and open your mind for a unique ride and visual experience.
Climbing To Sunshine
Before we hit our longest section of fast and furious rollers, we spend 4 minutes climbing and getting our legs ready to “put the hammer down”. This short section finds us on some longer but steady climbs, burning off the morning fog and mist to get to the ridge line where we will fly.
Feeling The Need For Speed
This ride section is the kind of finish we always hope for, fast, strong and fully satisfying. You will feel the speed from the first few seconds of the ride. As in every Global Ride video, everything is shot at the “riders pace” – not more, not less, and thus you will experience the speed. Because there are a good many switchbacks, you will pay a bit of “cat and mouse” with the rider on this section. It will be as fun as it is challenging!
Bonus 30-minute Yoga for Cyclists
We give cyclists the most realistic experience possible in the way we shoot our first person perspective video. After an awesome class on the virtual road, you can move right into cross training. Cycling or Spinning tends to overwork some muscles while underworking others.
To solve this problem and give you the best possible workout for their entire body, we include a bonus 30-minute yoga, pilates or strength training session with every ride. These sessions are tailored specifically to cyclists and are designed to be performed right after you get off the bike.
