GU Electrolyte Brew Hydrating Instructions
Mix 3 scoops per 600ml or water (strengthen as required)
To enjoy GU Electrolyte Brew at its most effective, prepare it just before your workout. If setting out on a multi-hour training adventure, carry GU Electrolyte Brew in powder form and mix it with water while on the go.
Before - Start drinking GU Electrolyte Brew before starting your workout, to maximize hydration levels. We recommend 16-24 oz. of GU Electrolyte Brew consumed about an hour before exercise.
During - During exercise, consume approximately 600-900ml (20-30 oz.) of GU Electrolyte Brew per hour.
After - After finishing your workout continue hydrating with GU Electrolyte Brew, but supplement this with 500 - 1000ml (16-32 oz.) of GU Recovery Brew to help your body replenish what was lost during exercise.
Combine GU Electrolyte Brew with GU Energy Gels or Roctane Ultra Endurance Gels for the ultimate in sports hydration and fueling. Take one gel 15 minutes before training or competition and then one gel every 30-45 minutes during exercise. Drink GU Electrolyte Brew throughout and when you’re finished, complete your workout with GU Recovery Brew.
Note: Because GU Electrolyte Brew contains mostly complex carbohydrates instead of tons of sugar, it does not mix well in icy cold water. Use a little warm or room temperature water to mix it and then top it off with cold water.
