KARLYN PIPES-NEILSEN has set so many Masters World Records that it's hard to keep track (146 at latest count). In 2004, she was named World Masters Swimmer of the Year by Swimming World magazine, and from 1993 to 2003 she was named 8 times as US Masters Swimmer of the Year. She is the oldest athlete to set and/or hold an NCAA record, and is an age-group national champion in USMS open-water competition. In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Karlyn has 15+ years of experience as a coach, clinic director, and motivational speaker.
