The BV Sport ProRecup AR is designed for optimum recovery after long hikes, treks or stage races.

It incorporates the features of the ProRecup Elite range by leaving the toe of the sock open. This facilitates the treatment of blisters and bruises, without affecting the conditions for optimum recovery.

The ProRecup AR range makes it possible to still use thongs or flip flops. The strain of recreational sport justifies the optimum and fast recovery guaranteed by the ProRecup AR.

The human body comprises several reservoirs of veins. The main one is the heart and the auxiliaries are the calves. When we do sport or a job where we are sitting down or standing about for long periods at a time, or even when we are travelling by bus, train or aeroplane, toxins build up in our calves (lactic acid, CO2, free radicals, etc.). The veins tend to dilate causing venous stasis.

DURING RECOVERY: COMPRESSING the calves reduces the diameter of the veins hence speeding up the venous flow.

This accelerates the return flow of blood loaded with toxins towards the heart.

Very quickly, the fibres in the muscles, tendons and ligaments are fed with oxygenated blood hence improving recovery.

The Prorecup AR recovery socks should be worn immediately after any physical exertion (training, matches and competition) for a minimum period of two hours.
